Hemel Hempstead is quite possibly the complete antithesis of Sheppey but it’s amazing what still manages to thrive in the wild pockets between building, road and railway. It’s not good in low light or for birds in flight but for most other things it does ok. It’s getting a bit old and unreliable now and so will be upgraded this year to the GX8 body and the new 100-400mm lens. That you can understand the issues, must make the battles a little easier (although I have never been in such dark places myself) - I wish you well with all future endeavours. I lived in Hemel for over thirty years, fished the canal between Two Waters and The Fishery Inn, went birding around Ashridge and Roughdown - the Bovingdon "Brick Pits" were a place we used our motor bikes - in the 70's - Stay positive and keep fighting - DylanDylan Wrathallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01285181139467170047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-874064958782474931.post-78784400314806163012016-01-24T20:01:46.432+00:002016-01-24T20:01:46.432+00:00Thank you for sharing so much of yourself.
